PIFS 2026 Islands Photo Exhibitions
“Pacific Portraits—Stories from the Islands” This unique photo exhibition showcases portraits and scenes captured by our own members during their journeys across the Pacific islands. The photographs capture the daily rhythms, traditions, and connections the island communities share with their land and sea.
Real people. Real places. Real connections. Each image is a personal encounter—an authentic moment shared between visitor and islander, revealing the warmth, and cultural richness of life in the Pacific. These photographs are more than art—they’re memories, stories, and bridges between worlds.
Join us in celebrating the spirit of the islands through the lens of those who walked their shores with pictures from the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga, Vanuatu, and etc.

Pictures Donation!
Do you have pictures from your trip to the Islands? We are collecting pictures for PIFS future Photo Exhibitions. The following information will be printed with the picture: name of the picture, year, place and photographer. For instance, “The Fisherman”, 2019, Apia, Samoa. Photographer: Sam Elone.
If you need more information please let me know, otherwise send the pictures to Sam (sam(at)elone.fi). Please note that we will print the pictures. Do not download the ones that you have on facebook (social media). Send a copy of the originals and use OneDrive, WeTransfer etc. for sending big files.
